Veezu
Veezu wanted to promote their headline sponsorship of the 2026 Velindre "Show Cancer the V" fun run.
The brief was to capture the energy of the day, promote a good cause, and show that, unlike their competitors, Veezu are an active part of their local community.
We needed to produce the main video in three different aspect ratios - 16x9, 4x5, and 9x16 - for various different social media platforms.
We also needed to produce three additional shorter reels from the day's footage, to promote sign ups for next year's event.
Live events videos can be difficult. What do you include, and what do you leave out?
Being filmmakers, "just cover the event" was never an option for us. We wanted to start making these choices ahead of time and arrive with a plan, so we could focus on capturing what really mattered on shoot day.
So we worked with both Veezu and Velindre in pre-production to develop a solid project brief. We worked to understand what the purpose of the event was, why there was a need for a headline sponsor, and what Veezu's involvement meant to both organisations.
Understanding the story, the desired outcomes, and the intended audience gave us a structure for the video to follow:
This structure helped us shoot efficiently, and made sure Veezu got the most out of the project.
Hammerspace really captured the essence of what we do.
