Christmas Advert

Vincent Davies, an independent department store in West Wales, asked us to produce a new advert encouraging people to shop locally this Christmas.

They needed a longer-form horizontal edit for their website, and a shorter square version for social media.

Focusing on the long distance between Haverfordwest and Swansea, and taking a tongue-in-cheek inspiration from Lord of the Rings, we showed the journey to Swansea as an epic quest, taking our family all day and through into the night. The message is clear, "don't go out of your way this Christmas".

We then cut to our department store promo, showing the different areas of the store, and including a sub-plot about the family children disapproving of each other's present ideas.

The final result is a fun film that delivers a seasonal message, and doesn't take itself too seriously.
